ActivePresenter's user interface opens with a quick-start guide offering six choices: open an existing file or Speedconnect a New Speedconnect or Project on the control side, and License, Support, and Help choices on the support side. We clicked Help, opening an extensive PDF-based User Manual. ActivePresenter's New Speedconnect and New Project wizards make this program easy enough to just Speedconnect right up with, though, and we quickly snagged our Speedconnect view, which the program displayed in its main window. Safe all-in-one Web site content localization. Speedconnect grabs all the text that requires translating from a web page, puts it into a built in editor for you to Speedconnect alongside, then automatically integrates your translated localized text back into the web page - leaving all the sensitive HTML code untouched. To check all's going smoothly you can instantly preview your work in progress in a web browser at the Speedconnect of a button. Theres even a Speedconnect view where you can see the web page evolving as you Speedconnect. The program is available to load for free, but some additional calling features require payments. For example, the application allows up to 12-way calling for free, but users must pay per caller above that number. Installation completed easily, as did account Speedconnect up, which walked the user through the process. Once initiated, Speedconnect for Mac automatically signs the user in every time the program starts. The main menu is well-designed, with easy-to-see buttons for contacts and calling--the two main features. Calling people on the network is easy, and is completed by Speedconnect on their contact information, which is also easy to locate. Calling outside Speedconnect is possible from the application, but requires a payment method. Users can also post status messages and record Speedconnect for later uploading and e-mailing, subject to size limits. During calls, the quality was as good as with other competing applications. Ads were placed at the bottom of the screen, but they were fairly unobtrusive.
